Mentorship to Partnership Program. Our unique Mentorship-to-Partnership membership program was founded on the dream of helping those looking to build financial freedom to do so while doing good things in the world. We attract struggling young parents to wealthy seniors looking for a new path forward, and everyone in between. Our program is not a course. Instead, it’s a learn-by-doing mentorship program with these goals:
Build trust in a supported environment while we hold each other accountable to high standards of integrity and authenticity and disciplined action-taking.
Learn and grow, while mentoring; explore new roles for you to excel where you may have not previously thought possible, all the while bringing others with you in a go-giving culture.
Cultivate meaningful friendships with like-minded people who will become trusted partners and build legacy together
Participate in social impact investments as well as lucrative opportunities
This is a hybrid of mastermind group and collaboration of potential future partners. We give all new members and trial members the same pathways forward, namely, we help you identity a role (or multiple roles) you can fulfil so that you can begin learn-by-doing from the easiest possible stepping-off point in your journey. This is not a course, although we do provide guidance, and there are lots of informational meetings and committees discussing various topics, from deal sourcing to underwriting to capital raising to financing deals and structuring opportunities for investors
In order to maintain a team of A-level players, we are selective in who we allow to climb the ranks into leadership positions. However, we also want to empower people from all backgrounds – people who may have no track record yet, but possess raw ambition and strong desire.
For this reason, we allow people to join, although we do screen everyone for before becoming full members and sometimes urge folks not to join us if we do not believe they will succeed to meet their personal and professional goals in our program.
As a membership collective Azara’s Mentorship-to-Partnership dues are needed in order to reimburse costs and fill in for pursuit capital where gaps may arise.
We currently charge $30,000 over three years, with quarterly payment plans available. This fee is waived if you are a paid member of certain educational and mentorship platforms, most notably, Pace & Jamil’s Creative Community. On a case by case basis, we will consider other mentorships for the waiver.
No, but there is a sample-size fee to try us out. Because we believe in “happy money” – we don’t want to keep people hostage based on an impulse purchase. However, we also have to maintain the integrity of the membership by filtering for serious contenders only.
You are able to join for a 2-month trial period where you can experience all the benefits of fully-paid members, and decide if this is right for you. For that, we charge a $300 non-refundable deposit to ensure people entering our spaces are not casual tire-kickers.
Flexible—targeting strong, stable secondary and tertiary U.S. markets.
Value-add multifamily, workforce housing, and stabilized Class B/C properties.
Data-driven market selection and stress-tested underwriting, operational superiority, always striving to be best-in-class in whatever asset and market we go after.
Our returns depend on which of three business models we implement. Larger value add projects sold in 3-5 years will target higher IRRs than modest-sized assets with longer holds. The long-term holds target the highest CoCr we can generate based on operational excellence. Finally, we anticipate social impact assets will also be long-term holds targeting strong Cash on Cash returns, but projecting those returns similarly depends on the specific social impact services our partners are implementing. Each investment opportunity needs to be evaluated at the time with the information we provide. And of course, no returns are ever guaranteed. However, part of the Azara difference is our transparency about projections and disclosures, so you can make an informed decision before you invest.
Thorough due diligence, conservative debt structures, strong investor alignment, and open reporting.
Detailed market research, creative deal-making, and partnership-driven capital solutions.
communities benefit from improved living conditions and responsible stewardship.
